Bombay Biryani or Mumbai Biryani is a popular Indian dish made with basmati rice, mixed vegetables and aromatic spices. This delicious biryani is very easy to make and can be cooked in a dum style or the traditional way. The ingredients for this biryani are very simple and you may already have them in your pantry.

I like to use mix vegetables like peas, carrots, beans, corn, potatoes, cauliflower and onions to make this biryani, but you can use your favorite veggies. The curd (yogurt) gives a beautiful creamy flavor and tang to this biryani and you can also add groundnuts (peanuts) for extra crunch. Serve this delicious Mumbai style biryani hot with raita and salad for a weekend lunch or dinner or prepare it for special occasions.Dum Style Bombay Biryani Recipe
